Le Plateau des Bénés - Loop

Description
360° views of the Mont Blanc, Fiz and Aravis ranges. Herds in summer pasture around the alpine chalets of Les Bénés, a grandiose destination.
Access: from the Peray parking lot or the Mouilles parking lot
Head towards Tête Noire, on the right along the main path; the climb is steady but fast, then towards "Mouilles de Brey".
Here you can make a detour to the Tête Noire cross, which offers an exceptional view.
Then head for the Bénés chalets.
Return via the same path or another trail below the Chalets des Bénés, returning via the Balcon des Sions, Chemin des Bœufs.
A longer loop can be made as far as the tête du Planet, or the Cabane du Petit Pâtre, (see Boucle pédestre des Bénés hike).
