Description
A hike starting at the village, allowing you to discover the Croisien vineyards and forest. It connects to the GR 51 trail which offers magnificent views of the Gulf of Saint Tropez.
Walk up Rue Louis Martin. At the top, turn left onto Rue Frédéric Mistral, heading towards ‘CCE Air France’. After passing the schools, continue along the tarmac road and walk past the Château de Chausse wine estate. After 50 metres, take the path that climbs up to your left. At the gate, enter the vineyard, turn right and follow the fence to the embankment (PLEASE RESPECT THE VINEYARD AND STAY CLOSE TO THE FENCE). Leave the vineyard through a gate on your right. Follow the path (difficult climb). At the top, take the track in front of you. At the junction with the GR51, with a green cistern in front of you, turn left. After the reservoir, turn left, then at the junction 50 metres further on, turn completely left (the bend is needle-shaped). Continue downhill. When you reach a junction between two wide dirt tracks, continue straight ahead. After a long steep descent, take the path on the right towards the vineyard. Return to the village.

Why not treat yourself to a tour of the Château de Chausse vineyards before taking in the magnificent views over the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and the hilltop village of Gassin. Once at the top, a wide, undulating path awaits you – a pleasant walk after your climb.
