The Legend of the Fadets ..
In the imagination of our ancestors, the fadets or leprechauns, a kind of goblin with a deformed body, lived in caves and underground passages of the Vienne valley. In spite of their mischievous and teasing spirit, they did the farmers a favor by guarding their sheep at night.
They were found in "Biard", commune of Moussac, Queaux under the "Messelière" and in Persac under "la Roche du Bois Durand".
