The origin of the name of this circuit is quite simple: indeed, it links the communes of Saint Macoux, Saint Saviol and Saint Pierre d'Exideuil. It follows the river Charente "the most beautiful stream of the kingdom" according to François 1er.

You can discover along this path a beautiful architectural heritage such as the castle of Léray, the castle of l' Etang built on a dry pond, the garden of Rocaille of Saint-Saviol or the church-saint-pierre of Saint Pierre d'Exideuil.
