Beton-Bazoches, a charming Brie village, was once called Bezzono Basilica, and its river Aubetin... Throughout this hike, you will be won over by the lovely green setting and the built heritage, including a half-timbered market hall, wash house and apple press.

• If there are any doubts regarding which path to take, markings take precedence over the description.
• Respect nature and private property.
• Don't litter.
• Avoid routes during hunting season (check with the town halls or the Seine-et-Marne hunting federation).
• Close gates and fences after you.
• Whenever possible, remove any obstacles from the path.

1- Head right, cross the Aubetin by the footbridge (wash house 150 m on the left), go right and follow the stream to N 4.
2- Turn left onto the street parallel to the road and walk up the hill on the path to the left; enjoy the beautiful view of Beton-Bazoches. Continue in the same direction and walk down to "Les Haies" farm.
3- Walk around the farm, follow D75 to the left and arrive at the hamlet of Fontaine-du-Mont. At the bend, take the path to the right. It crosses the D55, a path and a wood. Turn right and then left to walk along a wood.
4- Go left and, just before the wood, turn right along the wood’s edge. Make a left-right and, after a turn to the right, turn left. Before the hamlet of Montcel, walk down to the left, cross D15, cross the Aubetin and continue to Grand-Fretoy.
5- Cross the hamlet, keeping left and, after Coupigny, follow the path to N4, to the Groué hamlet.
6- On the wide pavement, walk along the national road to the left, then turn left. Turn right and enter Beton- Bazoches. Take Rue Tessier street on the left (pass the apple press) walk along the market hall and return to the church car park.
