Description

A lovely, long forest walk. Set off to discover the Rocher du Chat viewpoint, passing by the château and Etang des Epioux (a short diversions of 500 m each way).

The whole walk takes you along beautiful, easy paths (only the access to the Rocher du chat viewpoint is a little steep). The return walk takes you along the Semois to the Songes path and the beach at the mouth of the Antrogne (barbecue, picnic).

Point de vue du Viaduc de Herbeumont

The viaduct of Conques is located 1 km from Herbeumont, between this village and Sainte-Cécile. Spanning the Semois, it is at a height of over 40 meters and is over 120 meters long. After the viaduct follows the tunnel of the Conques, an old railroad connecting Sainte-Cécile to Herbeumont. It allows to pass under the summits of the massif of the same name. It is 1350 meters long and completely straight.
