Description
Part of the route runs close and then alongside Méances stream. The source of this river lies between Provins and Sourdun, then flows through La Bassée from north to south into the Seine.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
1- Take the street of the town hall. Crossing the railway bridge, turn left and pass the cemetery.
2- Turn right, continue the health trail.
3- Take the path on the right that leads around the woods.
4- Take the fourth path on the left. At the crossroads, follow the 2nd path on the right, cross the railway bridge then take the asphalt road on the left.
5- Cross D122 and follow the path leading to the water tower. Once you reach the water tower, take the asphalt road opposite. Turn left, walk down the path through the pasture to the railway. Walk along the railway. After the level crossing, turn right, then take the 2nd on the left.
6- Take Rue de Chalmaison to the left, then take the 3rd lane on the right, Chemin des Happes. 300 m later it leads back to Rue de Chalmaison.
7- Turn right.
8- At the crossroads, turn left, and continue 80m, then turn right. Pass the picnic area and then the wash house (Méances stream). Continue until you come to the main street in Chalmaison. Turn left and return to the church and car park.
