Winter hiking itinerary Le Planay

Description

Hiking offering fantastic views over surroundings, Mont Joly and aiguilles Croches.

From the Nordic chalet of La Livraz, go up 300m and cross the main road. From there, the path goes up to the edge of the forest. Then by undergrowth of fir trees the path joins the hamlet of Planay, after having taken the bridge overlooking the torrent.
From the Hammeau du Planay, follow the road on the left on the hillside to the hamlet of Planellet.
A nice view opens on the slopes of Rochebrune and Cote 2000.

0/ From the Livraz Nordic chalet, climb 300m and cross the main road.

1/ From here, the path climbs to the edge of the forest.

3/ After crossing the bridge over the torrent.
From the hamlet of Planay, follow the road on the left up the hillside to the hamlet of Planellet.

4/ Return either the other way or take the shuttle bus from the “Le Planellet” stop to the village (in season only).
