From this charming stone village, enjoy a walk around the hills looking down on the Rhone valley through the charming Bégut and Chapellan Woods. Hike n°21 in the "Annonay-Serrières" topographical guide on sale from the Ardèche Tourist Information Office.

Steps
Départ de Peaugres
Départ du panneau « Info Rando » place de l’église. Rejoignez la grande rue et tournez à gauche puis tout de suite à droite. Longez le cimetière, passez quelques maisons et prenez le chemin à droite. Rejoignez une grande piste et suivez-la à gauche.
Suc de la Mure
Prenez la route à droite 100m plus loin et rejoignez la ferme de Bégut.
Bégut
Montez dans le bois et prenez à gauche au croisement suivant. Au carrefour du Réservoir de Saint-Julien grimpez à droite jusqu’à l’embranchement suivant. Avant de poursuivre, vous pouvez monter encore 100m en direction de Savas pour profiter d’un aller-retour, à gauche, à la ruine de l’église de Saint-Julien-en-Goye. La vue y domine l’ensemble du bassin d’Annonay et les monts du Vivarais en arrière plan. Redescendez sur vos pas.
Bois de Bégut
Suivez cette piste agréable en sous-bois. Plus loin vous longez une parcelle de vignes.
Bois de Chapellan
Un aller-retour à Beauregard (lieu-dit qui porte bien son nom !) vous permettra d’apprécier le 2ème point de vue de la balade. Celui-ci est dirigé vers la vallée du Rhône et des Alpes. Descendez dans le bois puis poursuivez par la petite route. La première route à droite vous emmène jusqu’à la belle bâtisse de Maclan. Prenez alors à droite et suivez le sentier bordé d’un mur de pierres. A l’intersection suivante descendez dans les prés à gauche. Suivez à gauche le ruisseau et rejoignez une route. Descendez jusqu’au hameau de la Besse, prenez à droite et poursuivez la descente vers le centre de Peaugres.

The winery is located at inside a very charming house in stone. True to peasant values and customs, a part of plots is worked in organic agriculture (all the red grape varieties).A beautifull story of family that we find in the name of some cuvees. Wines are aged either in oak barrels or in tub. Total area occupied by 6 hectares : 4 hectares in the Saint Joseph and Condrieu appellations and 2 ha in IGP rhodaniennes hillsides. 35% in white grape variety (marsanne, viognier), 65% in red grape varieties (Syrah). Winemakerrs in co-operative since 2001. In 2010, that took place the first wine making, in instead of the former old cowshed of my grand-fathe who did teach me his passion and love for vines.
