Description
From the Châtelet hill, you will discover Saint-Désirat, its orchards and its vineyards. Hike n°4 on the topographical guide "Annonay-Serrières" on sale in the Tourist Information Office.

Steps
Départ de Saint Désirat
Départ du panneau « Info Rando » place du marché. Rejoignez le centre du village et prenez tout droit au rond-point de l’église. Suivez la rue principale jusqu’à une grande croix.
La Condamine
Commencez doucement la montée.
Les Grands Champs
La montée se poursuit. Passez la maison et prenez à droite pour vous enfoncer doucement dans la végétation en longeant le ravin de Combenière. Coupez-le, gardez toujours le chemin principal. Plus haut vous recoupez le ravin à gauche et poursuivez la montée. L’itinéraire passe en contrebas de la statue de Notre Dame du Châtelet. Beau point de vue sur la vallée fertile de Saint-Désirat. Vous rejoignez le point culminant de la balade. Une belle vue sur la vallée du Rhône vous permet d’apercevoir notamment le pont suspendu d’Andance, construit par Marc Seguin, et la plaine du Rhône.
Le Replat
Au croisement suivant prenez à droite et descendez dans la forêt. Poursuivez dans les vignes puis dans les vergers d’abricotiers. Arrivé aux maisons poursuivez par la petite route, prenez à droite puis continuez tout droit sur le chemin herbeux pour rejoindre la route et l’église de Saint-Désirat.
