Val du Roy

Description

This signposted route will allow you to discover the Yères valley. You start this route in Villy-sur-Yères, in front of the church of Saint-Martin, dating from the 12th century. From the eastern side, you will have a very beautiful panorama on the valley. In the hamlet of Val du Roy, King Henry IV used to stop at the post house during his long journeys. Here you can admire the stained glass windows of the Saint-Aquilin chapel, which is currently being restored. At the end of the route, you pass along the river.
