The Route des Chiffonniers is a hiking route linking the coast (Saint-Pair sur Mer) to the Sée valley. The 84 km long route criss-crosses the inland areas of the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, crossing varied landscapes between sea, hedged farmland, undergrowth, valleys... Another way to discover the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel! The Route des Chiffonniers brings to life the roads used by the ragpickers to transport the sail and cloth scraps from the ports to the mills of the Sée valley where they were transformed into paper.
To cover these 84 km, be accompanied by pack donkeys! Ideal companions for carrying luggage and leaving in total autonomy, the donkeys can also carry children and make the hike accessible to all.
