Located 100 km away from Paris in the east of the Eure Department, the Lyons Andelle area is a charming countryside destination in Normandy where visits of castles, abbeys, parks and art galleries are combined to nature outings with the state forest of Lyons or in the Andelle Valley, a river known for its trout. Its shop sells books, postcards, gifts and local products. The Tourist Information Centre organises guided tours of the village of Lyons-la-Forêt for groups (booking required) all year round and on certain dates in summer for individuals.
