From the tourist office car park, cross the swing bridge, head right onto quai Letourneur. Opposite the fish market, turn left into rue du Nord, walk up rue de la Mer on the right, then rue de la Croix on the left. At the end of the street, walk up rue du Phare on the right. - At the top of the hill, you can make a small detour to the British memorial overlooking the outer harbour. Return the same way via the alley P. Winter.
Head straight on towards the Semaphore and continue along the path. At the end of the path, turn left. Carefully cross the road D514 and continue opposite into rue de Villiers. Just before the first houses of the hamlet Villiers, turn into the path on the left, which comes out onto a small road.
Take the road on the left and continue for 100 yards. Turn right onto the golf course (private property – please stay on the permitted track and be aware of golfers). Remain on the path for 350 yards. At the crossing with rue Abbé Lemazurier, continue straight on for 400 yards through the field. When you reach a large rock turn right into the path bordering the course “le Manoir”. At the fork at the end of the golf course, turn left. At the pedestrian crossing, turn right and continue on the road for 240 yards. Then turn left into the wooded path.
Follow the path on the left, walk straight on through the recent neighbourhood and along the campsite. Continue into rue Jacques Cartier, then turn right onto the road D 514 and walk on to the set of traffic lights.
Continue straight on, walk along the cemetery, cross the next round-about and turn left into rue des Chantiers. Walk along the quayside on quai Baron Gérard, and continue until ending back at the tourist office.
