Description
Easy walk for all the family with a slight altitude difference. The panorama is magnificent: the Aravis, and Fiz ranges, the Arve valley Megève, the Arly valley and the Mont Blanc.
From the arrival point of the cable car, follow the itinerary in the direction of the P’tite Ravine (restaurant) and then the Chalet de la Vieille, starting in alpine pastures and finishing in woods.
At the Chalet de la Vieille fork (immediately to the right) take the good path that leads to the Fouettaz. Once you are on the tarmac road on the right take the time to admire the village of Megève; continue to the Fouettaz car park and follow the path on your right in the direction of Odier. Admire the oratory on your left.
Continue on your right to the hamlet of Odier ; thenturn right again into the path that will take you to the Chemin d’Allard on the left.
Return to the starting point of the cable car by the tarmac road.
Other possibility:
Starting point : Fouettaz car park (1249m). Total time: 2h.
Go from the “Rocher” (1310m), pass by the Alpage du Rocher and continue in the direction of the Chalet de la Vieille.
Return by the “Fontaine Désir” (Desire Fountain).

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
1/ From the top station of the gondola, follow the signs for La P'tite Ravine (restaurant), then Chalet de la Vieille, starting in the alpine pastures and ending in the undergrowth. At Chalet de la Vieille, fork immediately to the right along the path towards La Fouettaz.
2/On the asphalt road on your right, admire the village of Megève and reach the La Fouettaz parking lot. Follow the path on your right towards Odier. Admire the oratory on your left.
3/Continue right to the hamlet of Odier.
4/Turn right again along the path, which leads to the Chemin d'Allard on your left.
5/Return to the gondola departure point via the tarmac road.
Alternatively :
Starting point: parking de la Fouettaz (1249m). Total time: 2h.
Go as far as "Rocher" (1310m), pass through the Alpage du Rocher and continue towards Chalet de la Vieille.
Return via "Fontaine Désir".
