A pretty walk, to see royal eagles, and in a little combe towards the “Pas de Sion” a few marmots have made their home. A really beautiful panorama over the Mont-Blanc, the Mont Joly range and the “Monts du Véry”, in the middle of alpine flowers, violets…
Setting out from Megève, head in the direction of the Perchets Lady. From the Lady hamlet follow the signpost in the direction of the rock climbing wall, and after 800 m continue to the Rochebrune direction toward the Caboche restaurant.
Leave the tarmac road and follow a stone path to the hamlet of Tour. Take the first path on the right that climbs through woods and alpine pastures in the direction of the Alpette (restaurant). You will soon see Lake Javen below on the left nestling in the hills. Continue upwards while following the direction of Rochebrune.
When you reach a fence the path climbs suddenly to the right in the woods (very steep until the flat ledge of Rochebrune).Follow the dirt path that goes up diagonally in the direction of the Alpette for about 35 min (highest point of the hike).
Continue in the direction of Cote 2000, take the path that follows the crest until Pré Rosset (restaurant), and then the path on the left under the first teleski, which goes down to the hamlet of Maz (typical chapel), then 45 min downhill to get back to the center.
