



Explore the footsteps of the priest of Saint-Nizier, who used to walk down to celebrate mass in the village of Engins, through the "Pas" whith that name.
Departure from the center of the village of Saint-Nizier-du-Moucherotte. A little after the roundabout in the direction of Grenoble, head towards the crossroads of the Grande Fontaine 1. From there, follow Le Pas du Curé. You then enter the forest through Le Corba 2 and Sous la Falaise 3. The trail then winds through technical passages along the cliff. You can then admire the parade of the Coulou. At Batardière 4, you follow the road to the Barrage d'Engins 5 which you cross to join the hamlet of Les Jaux 6. At Les Jaux follow the GR9 which goes between two houses. Cross a footbridge over the Furon River, then a field before attacking a strong road twist (slippery in rainy weather) to access the Pas de la Corne 7. The return to the village of Saint-Nizier is done by GR 9 through Le Goulet des Moulins 8.

From Sassenage, take the road D531 to Lans-en-Vercors, then follow Saint-Nizier-du-Moucherotte. Park in front of the tourist office. From Seyssins, take the road D106 until the village of Saint-Nizier-du-Moucherotte.

A short hike but which presents some technical passages during the crossing of the two "Pas". You will admire there magnificent panoramas on the Chartreuse, the massif of Belledonne and the plateau of Molière and Sornin in particular.
