Advice

You cross a Sensitive Natural Area with a specific regulation to respect (information panel at the entrance of the site). You're going to go through the summer pastures, maybe you'll meet protective dogs and herd guards.Always be sure to bypass the animals while remaining calm while the dog identifies you. Do not caress or threaten them.If you have a dog, keep it on a leash!Use the passageways to cross the fences, close the gates and barriers, stay on the marked paths. Thinking about closing the gates of the parks is also to think of the shepherds and the flocks.

Herd protection dogs

In the mountain pastures, the guard dogs are there to protect the herds from predators. When I hike, I adapt my behaviour by going around the herd and pausing so that the dog can identify me. Click here to see the video : c'est quoi au juste un chien de protection ?
