The Dent de Moirans

Join the northern end of the Vercors massif, at the Dent de Moirans, you will be like on the prow of a boat, overlooking the valley of Isère.

Departure from Montaud (parking village), take the direction of the Dent de Moirans 5. Always follow the yellow and green markings between each directional panel. Go to Côte Maillet 1 and La Combe 2, then go on the right to join Beugnet 3. The pleasant path continues northwards with an unavoidable stop at the point of view of the Bois Vert (landscape reading table). Arrived Sous la Dent 4, take on the right the path that leads to the Dent de Moirans and its exceptional belvedere (caution caution when approaching the cliff, especially with children!).To return to the village of Montaud, from Sous la Dent take the direction of Saint-Quentin. The path winds through the beeches and spruces before returning to an open environment and reaching les Maîtres 6. From there, rally Montaud passing by Chausson 7, the hamlet of Fayard, before returning to La Combe then Côte Maillet. The village is no longer very far.
