Description
This pleasant circuit is a great way to stretch your legs. Enjoy varied, pleasant landscapes and take the cycle path between Cierp-Gaud and Izaourt. There is a short but steep climb when you reach Montréjeau.
You will depart from the car park at Luchon station and head to the village of Cierp-Gaud, then Saint-Bertrand de Comminges. Continue towards Montréjeau, where a small hill awaits you, and you will reach the banks of the Garonne at Gourdan Polignan. Follow the Garonne River through Pointis-de-Rivière and head towards Martres-de-Rivière. Your route continues through Barbazan and Loures-Barousse. Then simply follow the same route back to Luchon train station. An added bonus of this route is that you will be cycling on a cycle path for a few kilometres.

Detailed stages
1 - Head towards Moustajon and Antignac (D 125c).
2 - At the roundabout on the outskirts of Antignac, turn left towards Cierp-Gaud (D 125).
3 - At the roundabout, continue straight ahead (D 125) and at the next intersection, continue straight ahead towards Estenos until you reach the entrance to Izaourt (D 825).
4 - There, turn left towards Saint-Bertrand de Comminges (D26 and D 26a). Continue straight ahead and at the next intersection, turn right towards Jaunac then Mazères-de-Neste (D 72).
5 - After crossing the Neste, turn right towards Montréjeau (D 71 and D 34e). After the small hill, turn right then right again (D 34l) to descend towards Gourdan-Polignan (D 25).
6 - Cross the Garonne and, at the Lycée Paul Mathou, head towards Huos (D 34).
7 - Continue to Pointis-de-Rivière and, at the exit of the village, turn right towards Martres-de-Rivière.
8 - Cross the railway line and the D 8 and continue straight ahead to reach the village of Ardiège (D 33l).
9 - Turn right towards Barbazan and, in the village, turn right again to reach Labroquère (D 26).
10 - After the bridge, continue straight towards Loures-Barousse and the exit for Izaourt (D 825). Take the cycle path which will take you to the Chaum bridge.
11 - Turn right, then left towards Cierp-Gaud (D 125).
12 - Here, take the opposite route to the one you took to reach the Luchon train station. (D 125 then D 125c)
