The path comes out at La Maignonne car park, next to the free shuttle bus stop that takes you back to the resort centre.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

Departure from the Maignonne parking lot

1/ Take the Mairiers road just opposite the parking lot, then turn right onto the path following the signs for the Bois des Fornettes trail.

2/ Continue along this path through the forest, always following the signs.

3/ Cross two streams and join part of the Alpages Enchantés trail just before the end.

4/ Once you've reached the hillside reservoir, walk along it to the left before heading back up towards the top of the Montalbert gondola. Return by the same route.
