The path comes out at La Maignonne car park, next to the free shuttle bus stop that takes you back to the resort centre.
Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
Start from the car park in Montalbert 1600
1/ Start on the Route des Mairiers just opposite the car park, then turn right onto a path, following signs to Le Bois des Fornettes.
2/ Follow the signs on this path through the forest.
3/ You will cross two streams and join the "Alpages Enchantés" trail just before the end of the trail.
4/ When you arrive at the reservoir, walk around it to the left before going back up to the top of Montalbert gondola. Take the same route back.
