Le chalet Ducray

Le chalet Ducray
Le chalet Ducray

Description

Take this little-travelled, wild route for a short, rejuvenating break, and indulge your desire for solitude in the deep forest near the Les Aillons ski resort!

D/ Parking du Rond-Point du Lindar.

1/ Take the track leading up to the Col du Lindar.

2/ At the pass, take the wide path on your left which climbs up to the chalet Ducray.

>>Depending on the season, cows may be waiting for you there, so remember to close the gates behind you to prevent them escaping.>>

3/ After admiring the huge conifers, continue along the track towards the Col du Pré du Tour, leaving the shortcut back to the parking lot.

4/ Well before the pass, look out for the faintly-marked path on the left, which you can take on the way back.
Slightly downhill at first, the slope steepens sharply and this short stroll ends with a succession of small switchbacks leading back to the parking lot.
