Description

Fun is guaranteed at the ValJoly tourist resort on the edge of the largest lake in northern France. At the Eau d’Heure lakes, discover the basics of dam-building, as well as the many water sports and recreational, sporting and relaxation activities. The Eau d’Heure lakes and ValJoly lake are real gems of unspoilt nature, and were both built in the 70s to create one water dam to regulate the flow of the Sambre river and another the Helpe Majeure river. Stop in the charming little village of Thuillies, and the town of Beaumont which is known for its tasty macarons and its legend of Charles V.
