Description

A fun, rolling trail with varied scenery, through forests and glades.

It's a 1.8 km ride to the start of the trail. This easy, rolling itinerary alternates between woodland and clearings and makes the ideal Enduro trail for novices. Like all Enduro trails In the resort of La Norma, it starts at the top of the Melezet chairlift. This allows quick access for mountain bikers wishing to do the same itinerary again, or to try something more challenging.
Why the name? Because the itinerary includes the Avalanche Bend which in turn is named after an avalanche that once reached this spot. This is an active sector in winter...

Location complements

Trailhead at the top of the Mélézet gondola.
It's possible to reach the starting point by enduro ascent.
To get there by car: park in the La Norma leisure center parking lot and take the ski lifts from there.
I'm going by bus: Line 1 - Rond La Norma stop - (no bike transport on the line).
