The Noue of Moignelée is a former meander of the Sambre, a remnant of the river before its canalization. The village church overlooks the site. Between the swale and the current Sambre, there is a marshy meadow that has been refilled. The site attracts many waterbirds. A natural haven next to the former Bonne-Espérance coal mine.
Location: Rue de l'Eglise (at the bottom, where it extends into Rue de Bonne Espérance, also called Rue de Farciennes on some maps) in Moignelée.
