Col de la Tribale

Le Vigan - Le Rey - Camias - St André de Majencoules - Peyregrosse - Notre Dame de la Rouvière - Col de la Tribale - St Martial - Sumène - Pont d'Hérault - Le Vigan

This route takes you through the Valleraugue and Sumène valleys.

Departure is on the D999 towards Ganges, as far as Le Rey, where the D354 takes you to St André de Majencoule via a small, winding road, before descending to the valley floor, crossing the Hérault, and climbing to the Col de la Tribale via Notre Dame de la Rouvière.

You may not encounter many cars, but the roads are narrow, so take care on the way down to St Martial and then Sumène (on the D20).

From there, you'll need to climb the few switchbacks to Cap de Coste (on the D11) and join the D999 before Pont d'Hérault. Then back to Le Vigan.
