Le Vigan (via the greenway)

3 departments : Gard, Hérault and Aveyron -
via the Causse de Blandas.

From Le Vigan, climb the Causse via Avèze and Montdardier on the D48s, then on to Blandas (D113) and Vissec. Taking the D113b, you enter the Hérault département towards Sorbs and its château, then Le Cros and Le Caylar (see the sculpted tree in the square).

Take the D609 towards La Couvertoirade (Aveyron), which you'll leave on your right (if you have time, visit this fortified Templar village).

At the crossroads with the D7, turn right towards Sauclières and the Col de la Barrière, where you pass back into the Gard - take the D270 on your right towards Campestre, then the D489 down to Alzon.

The D999 takes you back to La Vigan (note that the D158c, which avoids the tunnel, is closed to bikes), ending at Arre and Pont Eiffel on a voie verte.
