The marina of Rives is one of the largest on the French shores of Lake Geneva with 800 moorings, it offers all the services necessary for pleasure boating: harbour master's office, service station, craneage, careening, restaurants, bars, shops.A place of discovery: one of the gateways to Thonon-les-Bains... From the marina, which has 800 berths including 58 visitor berths, where you can relax on the terraces of the cafés and restaurants, the promenade along the quays leads to a vast beach equipped with swimming pools, waterslides and sports fields... Beyond this is the domain of the castle of Ripaille and its arboretum, as well as the small natural beaches of the Pinède and the Châtaigneraie... On the opposite side of the lake, the typical fishermen's village, its colorful sentry boxes and its fishing museum, and the pier of the big boats of the Swiss Company complete the seaside atmosphere of Thonon. The port of Rives is a concession of the public domain of the State, managed in the form of a municipal revenue agency with an autonomous budget and an operating council.

Catch one of its wagons at the Port de Rives and head for the town's must-see sites and their secrets.For nearly an hour, let yourself be guided from the port to Château de Ripaille, passing through the Concise and the oldest streets of the city center.
