Description

A lovely walk that takes you through the woods below La Flegere. Snack bar. Play area for children. Pony rides (only in July and August). Beautiful views over the Aiguilles and Mont-Blanc.

From the village, near the chapel, take Les Tines road - N 506 - and then turn
left along the road to the golf course (18 holes). Once over the bridge, turn right along the Promenade du Paradis des Praz, which takes you into the woods where you can wander at leisure, contemplate the streams or rest on the benches.

Chamonix golf course

Located at the bottom of a glacial valley, this flat course is surrounded by the prestigious peaks of the Mont Blanc massif, the Aiguilles Rouges and the Drus.The architect of Golf des Praz de Chamonix is Robert Trent Jones Senior. It's an eighteen-hole golf course measuring 6,076 meters by 72 meters. The course is technical, subtle, embellished with small water obstacles and defended by numerous bunkers. Chamonix Golf Club also has a training facility. This includes a 32-station driving range (14 of which are covered), 2 putting greens and a pitching green. A feast for the eyes and a pleasure to play, this course will leave you with unforgettable memories.
