Hiking trail - Entre clocher et ruisseau de Cances

Situated at an altitude of 610m, overlooking the Goul valley, for almost 50 years Leucamp lived to the rhythm of mining.Ladinhac offers a hiking circuit where the harmony of the landscapes and the quality of the built heritage work wonders. As you walk along, you will discover the white waters of the surrounding streams and some of the many mills in the village, not forgetting the superb views: the Vachand Waterfall, the Goul Valley, the Mounts of Cantal, the Aubrac Plateau. A very diverse circuit where each step is a discovery. Ladinhac takes great care with its heritage, and this is something that strikes you straight away when you approach the village. Far from giving the impression of being stuck in the past, museified, this coquetry seems to infuse the village with a balance between tradition and modern rural life.

Launched in spring 2023, the Leucamp walking trail is a reminder of the past existence of an industrial activity that is hard to imagine in these parts, where nature has reclaimed its rights in such a beautiful way: mining.
