Villages are often marked by an ancient history. Oudrenne is no exception to the rule. In its Celtic or Germanic origins, Udera means "water". This is not surprising when you walk through the landscape of forests, fields, pastures and orchards: water is everywhere.
One thing is certain, the Celtic peasant-warriors of protohistory were constantly searching for new territories and new resources. They passed through Oudrenne on their way to Western Europe.
