Description

Go up through the ski slopes to Derrière le Haut and then down to the Bas Rupts by the ski jump. Cross the Nordic area to reach the Haut de la Côte pass, le Phény, Mérelle and descend to the lake. After the end of the lake, the route goes up to the Roche Morand, the Haut des Xettes and then down to the Trinité and Kichompré. You then have to go back up to Martimpré, Roche des Bruyères (viewpoint), down to Saut des Cuves (small waterfalls). You then have to go back up to the heights of Xonrupt before going back down to the Gérardmer resort and the finish of the route.
Follow the markers marked red N°7 (32.2km, 1543m D+). Estimated duration 3 to 5 hours depending on your level of experience.
