Start from the Tourist Office of Bourg
After you leave the Tourist Office, pass the church Saint Géronce, and go up the street of “Général Peychaud”. Join on the left the “Cambes” road, cross the hamlet and continue until the panel “Give way”.
Turn left and go down on the Corniche road. Pass in front of the old Brouette cellars, producer of crémant (sparkling wine). Continue straight ahead, until Bayon’s church. You have the possibility to go to the Château Lamblin, Organic wine producer.
Just before the church, turn right. Caution, walk next to your bicycle and take the street in prohibited direction on 150 meters, and that until the stop sign.
Caution with the traffic.
Cross the road D669 until the Château Falfas. It is possible to taste their biodynamic wines.
Continue until the Château de Côts, organic wine producer. After the Château, at the intersection, turn left on the street “Chemin des vignes”. Continue straight until the D669.
The Château Puy D’Amour, organic wine, is on the right.
Turn left, and climb on the 1st road on the right, to Château Les Rocques. At the top, continue straight and down until the “Pain de sucre”.
Take on the left the Corniche road, and come back by the same way you took at start until the Tourist Office. For that, turn right after the old Brouette cellars, at the panel “Circuit de l’etuaire”.

The Tourist Office of Bourg is labeled for "Tourism and handicap" since 2009, and had a renewal for its national brand "Quality tourism" in 2014. The welcoming agent are there to help you book or simply to advise you, there is also a boutique for souvenirs made by the local artists and craftsman.
The St Géronce church has been build into a neogothiq style and inaugurated on 1858 the 25th of November. Because they lacked some place, its chevet has been oriented toward the south, contrary to what the liturgy expects. The organ, which still has its original building, that's to say the one of 1861, in incredible.
The vineyard of the Côtes de Bourg represents 3850 hectares of red wine dans 25 hectares of white wine. 450 wine makers work on it and enjoy to share the secrets of this terroir. Far away, the estuary of the Gironde has diferents landscapes, creating or making dispappear islands.
This one presents you a compass rose, from the promontory which dominates the Dordogne, the Gironde and its estuary.
Discover this splendid romanesque church, you can see the Virgin stone on the top. This church is built with the local stone called "pierre du Bourgeais".
The Château Falfas is an historic monument built in 1612 with a chai from the same time. From the end of 1988, Falfas' Vineyards is grown in bio-dynamic, this agriculture respect and protect the environment.
Family property since 1930, the vineyards is located around thirty kilometres away from Bordeaux and since 15 years, in Organic production.
This church from the XIth century was rebuilt in 1860 and still have a set of lamps which lit it during the Napoleon the 3rd times. Two paintings, one of God and the other representing Jean Baptist in the desert, can be found in the sacristy. Concerning the high altar, it is decorated with enamels with geometrical patterns.
La Maison des Vins de Bourg, situated on the threshold of the old town facing the estuary, has a dual role: to welcome the general public and to serve as a veritable centre for the range of activities undertaken by the producers (SVCB) of this famous appellation. Products scratched "Côtes de Bourg" are in the underground cellar which offers a wide choice of wines. It is the unconditional passage of the wine lovers! The Wine Information Center welcomes you all year round: visit of the cellar and free tasting. In summer, every weekend, a wine grower presents his products and explain his job. Advises, information, documentations on wines and properties are available. Possibility of booking an appointment to visit properties.
