Walking route - Petit Châtel

Walking route - Petit Châtel

Description

Easy walk to décourvrir Châtel and the Abondance valley from the heighs and some traditional wooden farmhouses.
From the village center, climb to Petit Châtel. Area to park, on the left, at the corner.

Take the asphalt Ryz path rising straight ahead. Continue along the wide path rising in front of you; after a steep but short climb past several alpine farms, you'll come to the Leibe oratory; turn left to reach the Flammet chalets.

Join the cross-country path to the right, which leads to Barbossine Dessous (intermediate chairlift station).

At the fork in the road, head downhill to reach Le Tenne on a wide track and continue on the road to the Petit Châtel bend.
