From the hamlet of Barmont, turn left and go down towards the hamlet of Les Charmettes (follow the signs). At Les Charmettes, leave the main path and go down to the left into the meadow (the path is very thinly marked but after a hundred metres or so, you will find a ruin on your right, you are on the right road!) You then enter the forest; follow the path to Les Rêches.
For the return journey, there are several possibilities:
- take the same path again,
- go just in front of the houses of Les Rêches and then fork slightly to the right to reach the path that will lead you to Le Villaret, from where you can take the Lonzagne cable car to Vallandry (open only in summer and winter),
