Description
This woodland climb takes you to a promontory adorned with three crosses, with a beautiful view over the valley. The descent continues towards the hamlet of l'Alpettaz before reaching Les Bottières. A charming hike awaits you.
Ideal for a family outing, this walk offers superb views of the surrounding mountains. An orientation table enables young and old alike to spot the peaks while enjoying the panoramic views. The walk also departs easily from the hamlet of La Rochette, in the commune of Fontcouverte-la-Toussuire. It's the perfect way to discover the mountains!

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
Departure point: Office de Tourisme des Bottières take the Trois Croix direction, passing through Pierre Glaise and Passage des Trois Croix.
1/ The trail first winds through the forest, then onto the ridge. After observing the panorama from Les Trois Croix, descend towards the hamlet of l'Alpettaz via Pré Sous Marin.
2/ From l'Alpettaz, after crossing the RD78D, turn left along the path towards Le Collet.
3/ Le Collet is reached by taking the tarmac road past the hamlet of Les Fontaines. From Le Collet, return to Aux Bottières via Le Lac Le Lou and Pierre Glaire.
