A beautiful walk on the heights of Jarrier towards the Notre-Dame des Chambeaux chapel. The out-and-back route winds along a wide path through the Chambeaux mountain pastures, dominated by the eponymous chapel. Panoramic view from the summit.
What to see / What to know :
The village of Jarrier has many hamlets and chapels. Chambeaux is the highest perched chapel in the village. The first chapel was built in 1864, but destroyed by a violent storm in 1935. It was rebuilt in 1941 thanks to the determination of parishioners who were very attached to this place of prayer.
