La piste des trois croix

This is a very nice and easy walk which, from the 3 Crosses, offers a remarkable panorama on Valmeinier, the surrounding villages and sites but also on more distant summits such as the "écrins".

Follow the road for about 200m then continue straight on a wide track that descends in thinning zones then rises in a denser forest to reach Pierre Brune.
(Bench to pause) After crossing the Fontaine Froide stream, the path climbs more steeply before reaching the Three Crosses and the Chapel of Our Lady of Life (orientation table). For the return journey, follow the postman's trail which climbs again in the forest (20 min) before going down to les Frasses, le Tour and finally the building. "Centre Montagne l'Arméra".
