Chemin des étangs

Le moulin de La Chautrandie est traversé par le Trieux, également appelé ruisseau de la Chautrandie dans sa partie en amont.

L'étang de Montfreboeuf est un étang napoléonien qui est alimenté par des sources en amont et est lui-même une source qui alimente les cours d'eau environnant. Il a servi à la pisciculture. Il offre un superbe panorama sur la campagne limousine.

Cette jolie fontaine qui se trouve dans la forêt du Puy Chevalier est une fontaine communale. Elle a n'a pas de dévotion particulière, elle permettait simplement de recueillir l'eau.

Saint Amand church was built in the 12th century, then destroyed in 1569 by Calvinist troops. It was repaired at various dates and finally enlarged in 1875 with the construction of a chapel to the north. Once part of the Solignac Abbey, it has been listed as a Monument Historique since 1926. The single-storey bell tower is adorned with blind arcatures, and has an ancient stump with Romanesque walls buttressed by a flat, slender buttress. Other buttresses with dripstones are less ancient. One of them bears the Lambertye family coat of arms. It is clad in chestnut shingles. In the heart of the village of Marval, the church backs onto the 12th-17th-century Château de Marval, which is sure to catch your eye on any stroll through western Limousin.
