This ridge walk follows the former route of a metre-gauge railroad, then the GR 46, and offers superb views of both the Monédières and the Troh valley. A fragment of the ancient metal route, it is thought to have been used in part from the Bronze Age onwards to reach the Mediterranean from the mouth of the Loire. This hike can be shortened, with different return paths marked in blue or yellow depending on duration.
