A la découverte de la forêt

Overlooking Neuvic, take a stroll through the Puy Chaffaud arboretum, where you can learn to distinguish the different species, with your family or on your own. Then stroll through the forests managed by the ONF (Office National des Forêts) and take a break by the Etang de la Vergne. On the way, listen out for the Black Woodpecker and watch for deer and roe deer. This walk will introduce you to the forest, an economic asset of the region, whose beauty changes with the seasons.
The circuit is counter-clockwise.
Starting point in Neuvic: follow the D171 towards Saint-Angel, continue for 200m, then park on the right at the entrance to the Puy Chaffaud arboretum "
