Hiking trail - From Granite to Wolfram

The history of tungsten mining on the slopes of the River Goul.A miner’s daughter tells you how the villages of Leucamp and Teissières-lès-Bouliès lived, for nearly 50 years, to the rhythm of the mine’s work. Models, photographs and objects staged illustrate the story, from the discovery of the ore in 1910 to the abandonment of mining in 1959. Open every day all year round.

Launched in spring 2023, the Leucamp walking trail is a reminder of the past existence of an industrial activity that is hard to imagine in these parts, where nature has reclaimed its rights in such a beautiful way: mining.
