Description
Trail accessible in winter.
Enjoy a family walk from Cazarilh to the Castel Blancat Tower, one of the 12 signal towers in the Pyrénées31 region, with a splendid view of the Larboust valleys and the Saint-Aventin chapel.
Starting from the pretty village of Cazarilh, just before the church, on the left, the path enters the forest. Continue straight ahead towards Saccourvielle. Take the path on the left to reach the tower.

Detailed stages
1 - The start is at the entrance to the village of Cazarilh, just before the church. Go through the gate and close it behind you. You will quickly enter the forest. The path is very pleasant, especially when it is hot.
2 - Leave the fork on the left leading down to Trebons (980m) and continue on the path in front of you.
3 - Halfway along, a short detour to the left takes you to the tower of Castel-Blancat (1,000m - whitewashed castle in Occitan).
4 - Continue along the path to the village of Saccourvielle, turn left and you will see the yellow and red GRPays Oueil-Larboust signposts on your right.
5 - Return via the same route.
