Sur les pas du chasseron - Saint-Génard

With its wooded lanes and paths encircled by low dry-stone walls, this hike and discovery trail winds between valleys and hillsides, shady areas (Vallée des Coudrières) and panoramic views, from Puyberland to the Romanesque church of Saint-Génard.

Initiated in the 2000s, the walks are now managed by the Mellois en Poitou community of communes, in collaboration with the local communes. To date, there are 50 of these itineraries, ranging in length from 1 to 16 km, enabling families, cyclists and experienced walkers to explore the region and discover its many facets (landscapes, small-scale heritage, etc.).
