From the Tiretaine to the Châtaigneraie de Beaumont

Royat, the starting point for beautiful walks between town and nature; the route takes in pleasant paths between old villages and new districts that encircle the town.

We're on the edge of a fault here, but apart from the gradual ascent between the spa and Gravenoire, this loop is within the reach of as many people as possible.

Difficulty: Ascent between the Royat cemetery and the D5

Parking recommended at the grotte des laveuses; difficult parking in the center of Royat, especially during the spa season.
