Description

A family trail in the heart of the Chaîne des Puys between woods and pastures, with a vast view of Clermont, Limagne and the Monts du Forez from the Ternant cross.

As an added bonus, for the more courageous, we recommend an off-tour to the Sarcoui cave and the puy des Goules.

Departure point: Parking des Goules, direction "Monlachat".

Difficulty: Very easy; steeper climb for the off-route to grotte du Sarcoui and puy des Goules.

Snowshoeing possible in snowy weather.
