Description

A lovely loop that reaches the chalets de l'Essert and offers a magnificent view of the Mont de Grange and the valley!

This itinerary offers a loop that starts in the centre of the village and climbs in the direction of Fremoux Dessous via a place called Frogy. You reach the chalets de l'Essert by a forest path, admiring the Mont de Grange.
The descent is via Fremoux Dessus with a very nice view of the Abondance valley.

Then walk the 4x4 path to the Recon Pass. The view of the Dents du Midi during the climb is breathtaking. Electric mountain bike route 23 - Lac des Plagnes- Abondance

Electric mountain bike route around Mont de Grange from Lac des Plagnes to Abondance.Leaving from Lac des Plagnes, follow route n ° 23 to the chalets de Lens and the Lenlevay meadow. Then follow the direction of Col de Bassachaux then Chalets de Plaine Dranse. Go down to Pré La Joux and take the trail along the banks of Dranse. Then fork on the left towards the Plan des Feux then Plaine Joux. Continue to the chapel St. Theodule and join the Lac des Plagnes. Possible variants: - Possibility of departure from the center of the village by taking the direction of Lake Plagnes (addition 5 km one way) - Possibility to go through the Chalet de Lens, cut a part of the route - Possible route between the pasture of Lenlevay towards the Saint Theodule chapel. ( hard route).

Electric bike loop of medium difficulty to discover without difficulty the heights of the village.From the place called Le Clos - Crêt-Béni, start gently the path of the banks of Dranse, along the river. The loop continues then in forest north side, until returning to the point of departure.
