The Pastré countryside is a little-known gateway to the hiking trails of the Parc National des Calanques. The route takes you to the top of Marseilleveyre, then around a loop to Samena and Madrague de Montredon.
This hike combines many assets and offers great diversity. From the architectural heritage, to the natural sights, to the viewpoints from which to soar. And then, reaching the summit of Marseilleveyre via the Bois de la Selle is also a small victory in itself, as this portion of the route, following the red markers, is the one that will require a rather intense physical effort. The finish will be all the more deserved. The return to Adrienne Delavigne Park offers a long, unobstructed view of the coastline before returning to the wooded valleys below. These are crossed by the winding President's Trail, which takes you to the finish point. From here, it's easy to get to a bus stop and head back towards town.
