The Saint-Nizier climb from Grenoble to the Vercors plateau is famous for its superb panoramic views. As you wind around the bends, you rise above the Grenoble conurbation stretching out at your feet, with Belledonne as your backdrop. The climb is tough, but once you reach Saint-Nizier, the Vercors plateau awaits you. Getting to Villard-de-Lans is a real pleasure.
