Depart from Le Vigan, follow the river bank and cross Avèze.
Join the Promenade du Viaduc in the direction of Arre, cross the village and continue along the old railroad line...

Depart from Le Vigan, follow the river bank and cross Avèze.
Join the Promenade du Viaduc in the direction of Arre, cross the village and continue along the old railroad line. At Saint-Cau, turn left. At Les Trois Ponts, climb the road to Arrigas. Just before the village, take the path down into the woods on the left. At La Bruyère, follow Le Crouzet. Cross the D999 and climb towards Le Crouzet. A balcony path takes you towards Lembrusquière. Rejoin route 2 at Lembrusquière.
